Beware of illegal international driver’s licenses

There has been an increase in cases of people renting cars using fake international driver’s licenses purchased over the internet.
International driver’s licenses must be issued by a legitimate issuing agency in the respective country. All driver’s licenses that anyone can purchase over the internet are fake, and it is illegal to use them in Japan.
